J Cromack, Co-Founder of MyLife Digital.

MyLife Digital has developed the Consentric Platform. Consentric empowers Citizens (directly or via Proxy) to control how an organisation uses their personal data. They can see what data an organisation collects and holds about them, it lets them rectify their data, enables them to see the processing purposes it was originally collected for. It also allows the Citizen to agree if their data can be shared with other organisations. This is all managed within a compliant framework supporting the ‘Rights of the Data Subject’ as defined in Articles 15 – 22 of the GDPR. Consentric is therefore applicable to all sectors that handle Personal Data.

J is an advocate of delivering ‘informed insight from informed consent (given or inferred)’ and a champion of the opportunities emerging from GDPR. J has been recognised as a Data Enabler in the DataIQ 100 2018 amongst the most important and influential people in data-driven businesses and the innovators who support them.

The MyLife Digital Group also incorporates Wood for Trees a data and analytics business focused on the charity and not for profit sector and Insight, a sports performance analysis business working with National Governing Bodies and Elite Sports Teams.

J has a wealth of management experience gained from various leadership roles in the commercial and not for profit sector. His entrepreneurial spirit remains at the heart of his approach and his rich understanding of Big Data, Analytics and Data Protection enables him to provide innovative solutions to many operational challenges whilst maintaining governance around personal data.

J is a Bath Rugby fan and keen sportsman, often taking part in Tough Mudders or cycling events. In 2015 he co-founded Revolve24, a global series of 24-hour cycle endurance challenges.

J lives in Bath, UK with his wife, 2 sons and 2 pointers!
